Yesterday: U.S. indexes soared Thursday, finishing at intra-day highs thanks to a rebound in chip stocks and positive geopolitical developments which boosted investor sentiment as President Trump noted an agreement with Iran is nearly complete. Risk assets responded positively, with Bitcoin climbing toward $64,000 and gold surging more than 100 points. Thursday’s monster rally lifted the Nasdaq (0.39%) and the S&P 500 (0.14%) back into the green, while the Dow is nearly flat, down 0.04% on the week. Meanwhile, investors are closely watching SpaceX ahead of its anticipated debut, with the company going public at $135 per share, implying a valuation of roughly $1.7 trillion.

On Our Radar: Looking ahead, Wall Street will be paying attention to the University of Michigan’s consumer and inflation surveys, as well as the Baker Hughes total rig count for signals on consumer sentiment and energy demand. On the earnings front, all eyes will be on Domo (DOMO) and Dave & Buster’s (PLAY) which will report after the market close on Monday.

MARKET HEATMAP

Chip stocks led the massive rebound Thursday as shares of SanDisk (SNDK), AMD (AMD), Micron (MU), and Super Micro (SMCI) were among the top gainers on the day. Meanwhile, despite all the euphoria, shares of Oracle (ORCL), Autodesk (ADSK), Adobe (ADBE), and Zillow (Z) couldn’t shake the selling pressure and were among the top laggards on the day. But those weren’t the only companies making big moves. Here’s a look at some of the biggest winners and losers on Thursday.
