Happy Friday, Zingernation! The best way to end the Fourth of July is with an over-the-top fireworks show and that last hot dog that you definitely didn’t need (hey, someone had to eat it). And the best way to end the week on Wall Street is with new all-time highs.

What Happened: Despite the stronger-than-expected increase in non-farm payrolls last month, the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ June Employment Situation report indicated an overall cooling trend in the U.S. labor market.

So: Significant downward revisions of 111,000 fewer payrolls in the previous two reports, an unexpected rise in the unemployment rate, and the anticipated slowdown in wage growth are prompting most economists to believe the Federal Reserve may be more confident about announcing an interest rate cut, with September being the nearest option.

Basically: Investors seem to share this view, with the probability of a September rate cut rising from 72% to 76% after the jobs report’s release, and the expected cuts increasing from 52 to 55 basis points by the end of the year. Here’s why some economists are calling for cuts, and what they would mean for markets.

Briefly: Crypto and stock trader Blockchainedbb predicted a significant drop in Bitcoin's BTC/USD value, suggesting $44,000 as the bottom. He highlighted many cryptocurrencies that depict an exit pattern.

What Happened: Blockchainedbb warned that Bitcoin is in “unsafe territory” and poised for a significant drop. The analyst stated that if Bitcoin closes below the 200 Daily Exponential Moving Average (EMA), it could tumble to $44,000. He further advised against waiting for a bounce after a 200 Daily EMA close.

So: The trader noted that each time Bitcoin has lost its 200 daily EMA, it has suffered a loss ranging from 8% to 50%, with an average loss of 30%. He warned that Bitcoin enters a risky phase whenever it loses the 200 Daily EMA. Here are the other expert takes on where Bitcoin and the crypto market are heading.
