Yesterday: U.S. indexes ended lower Thursday, as geopolitical tensions weighed on investor sentiment. The S&P 500 declined, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq slid more than 2%, officially entering correction territory and extending its losses to roughly 11% since the end of January. Investor caution overshadowed a brief reprieve after President Donald Trump extended a deadline for potential action against Iran’s energy infrastructure to April 6, delaying immediate risks but prolonging uncertainty. For the week, major indexes were mixed, with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq on track for losses, while the Dow has outperformed and remains in positive territory.
On Our Radar: Analysts will be paying attention to the final reading on consumer sentiment, the Baker Hughes total rig count, alongside remarks from Fed officials Anna Paulson and Tom Barkin for signals on the policy outlook.

Every fiat currency in history has eventually inflated away. Central banks in China, India, and Russia have been quietly dumping dollars and accumulating gold at a record pace.
