Yesterday: Stocks climbed Monday, with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq advancing as broad sector leadership supported gains. Bond yields held steady as markets looked ahead to key inflation data and its implications for Fed policy. President Trump’s sweeping metal tariffs are drawing sharp criticism from economists, who argue they will drive up costs for everything from cars to homes while reducing manufacturing competitiveness.
